"for"/ "with" - when we want to support somebody or something
"against" - when we oppose or do not support somebody or something
For example..
In the "Blink-off" story,
Q: Who was in favour of or for Jon winning the blink-off?
A: Jon himself
Q: Who was not in favour of or against Jon winning the blink-off?
A: Sally and Pete
Q: Who was with Sally for defeating Jon?
A: Pete
