"Ding! Ring!" went the school bell. Tom and Dav walked quickly like caged birds being set free. As they made their way to the canteen, Dav needed the toilet as his hands were sticky.
While Dav was washing his hands, he heard a soft wailing. He heard an intimidating voice. "Give me your money!" Dav cringed. He knew who the voice belonged to. It was Author, the notorious bully in Righe Middle School. Dav peeped for a little look. He saw Crith, the youngest boy in the school. “No!” said Crith, feeling scared. He stood there rooted to the ground in terror. As soon as Author head that, he picked Crith by his collar and pushed him to the wooden wall. “Argh!” cried Crith. His face had turned as white as snow. Crith almost feel his backbone breaking to pieces. Crith was there, crouched against the wall. I knew I had to stop him!
“Stop!” I yelled as bravely as possible. Author turned his attention to me! As Author was distracted, Crith took the opportunity to seek help.
“Young man, what do you think you are doing?” came a loud voice. It belonged to Mr Tan, the discipline master. Author was told that he would be taken action against.
Students came up to me and praised me. Dav felt bashful and proud to hear others singing their praises. He had helped them to get rid of a menace.
